This is one of my maze series, in which I explore the possibility that, in other universes, a very similar overall make-up can result in something radically different. I got this from one of my favorie movies, in which one man plays two characters who end up fighting over the combined energies of every version of that one particular man. From this, I made a group of 15 (so far) mazes in acrylic paint, each on a 16" x 20" canvas. This maze was fairly impressionistic, but I used a bright yellow contrasted with a lightly-applied purple to give it a hell of a lot more energy than those boring, dry twig impressionists ever did. After awhile, I started to have visions of calm waters entering a cave... that's when I slowly put down the paint brush. I hadn't dropped acid, or anything. It's just one of those artist-artwork interactions that was startin' to get weird.
