This is one of my maze series, in which I explore the possibility that, in other universes, a very similar overall make-up can result in something radically different. I got this from one of my favorie movies, in which one man plays two characters who end up fighting over the combined energies of every version of that one particular man. From this, I made a group of 15 (so far) mazes in acrylic paint, each on a 16" x 20" canvas. Before this maze, every one had had its maze-walls in white. I figure, somewhere, nearly every color is represented as maze-walls, by some version of me. Thus, this dark, nearly-forboding maze over a rhythmic, sprightly background. This background was almost good enough to be a piece unto itself... but that was the old Chris. To the new Chris, it's still pretty mediocre.
