2004. Various garbage woods and useless plywoods. 38" x 11" x 2 1/2" Sold! But you can always commission a similar piece.
This piece was very fun, and a little tedious to make. It was tedious because of the last thing I did... covering it in dozens of droplet layers of varnish. Everything else took three days in toto, counting 24-hour drying periods for the resin I used. The varnishing process took over a month. I'm finally discovering my compositional sense, and this is the first of what I hope becomes a glorious series... or at the very least, an interesting sub-series. This piece is made entirely out of scrap woods (I don't work with much else), which I salvaged and gave new life to. This isn't designed for just any wall... it weighs well over 10 pounds (roughly 7 kilograms). It needs to be hung on a stud, to be sure... and no, I'm NOT renting myself out for the purpose.
