This piece, whose name might need changing, was a concept I wrestled with for about five weeks. I put this up early in the morning, guerrilla art-style, in my continual attempt to free these broad, ugly white spaces from their huge over-emphasis in our academic structures. I put this up in my school's Science building because it's all trendy Asylum White and Dead People Gray. For future reference, Dead People Gray is not an actual color, just an actual idea. As for the piece itself, I did some leaf research with the Science faculty before I began on them. That was the good part. I screwed up in three different, major places: I didn't use enough different colors of yellow for the base coat, my signature at the bottom right was nearly covered by the frame, and my method of attachment (a LOT of masking tape, so much so it almost damaged the wall) was insufficient and poorly applied. It fell into a heap within a few hours of being hung... oh, well. Hope you like it.
