Back-Woodsy Knothole Pendant

Back-Woodsy Knothole Pendant

2004. Pine and stain. 4" x 2 1/2" x 1". $49.99 plus $5.99 for shipping. Click here if you want this piece.

This is one of my earliest knotholes, and possesses the simplest color scheme. This is also one of the few in which I actually use the hole, itself- generally, I use most of what's inside the knothole, the sweet-smelling sap, that everyone else hates because it gums up equipment. This is one of the few pieces which look better on the leather rope I bought when I first started making necklace pendants... most look _far_ better on chains.

Some of my favorite pieces

I'm not a parent. I admit I have favorites...

One Dusk

One Dusk

The question isn't whether it's beautiful... the question is, is it really a depiction of dusk?

Whatever you do, do NOT let the pieces fall into the hands of a small child.

A Battle Under the Surface

A Battle Under the Surface.

It's just so... Line-y. Not to be confused with 'Limey.' Although I hear the British are pretty nautical...
