This piece represents a slight deviation from my usual chaos versus order tangent. This is more of the gentle stuggle between man's willpower and concrete versus the natual forms we can never escape. I chose gray, also, because it isn't really a blotting-out of nature, but a covering-up attempt. I also believe it's neither good, nor evil. The good is what it can do to improve human life; the evil is what it does to these "improved" lives. Think about it a moment... Does living with technology really improve our lives, or do we seem to invent new inefficiency and struggle so we have an excuse for continual conflict and misery? Even when covered in concrete and steel, nature has, is, the real power.
