Motion Toward Breakdown

Motion Toward Breakdown

2005. Acrylic on canvas. 18" x 24" Not for sale. But you can always commission a similar piece.

I got an idea to make a scene (as usual, without people) involving the draining of a universe into a cluster of energy. One of my friends said it looked like a cell. Oh, well. I put in two sets of stairs, now leading nowhere, twisting inward. Those lines used to be railing, but they're being blown, not into a void, but into a nexus... maybe they're just waving to it. I honestly don't know how the fish tank got into the top step on the right... I've got fish on the brain, I guess.

Some of my favorite pieces

I'm not a parent. I admit I have favorites...

One Dusk

One Dusk

The question isn't whether it's beautiful... the question is, is it really a depiction of dusk?

Whatever you do, do NOT let the pieces fall into the hands of a small child.

A Battle Under the Surface

A Battle Under the Surface.

It's just so... Line-y. Not to be confused with 'Limey.' Although I hear the British are pretty nautical...
