Something I Can't DO

Something I Can't DO

2004. Potato chip 3-color monoprint. 16" x 19" $399.99 plus $28.99 for shipping. Click here if you want this piece.

I like to experiment with... well, just about everything, art-wise. As you may have read above, this is among the world's first potato chip prints. The best way to know a piece is good is that a small digital image doesn't show some of its best qualities, and this is one of those cases. I used some ridgy potato chips, and those ridges are cool. The big reason why I did this is because the boss at the print shop where I make my prints told me I couldn't use chips. There are just some ideas in life that nobody will believe until you show them the finished product.

Some of my favorite pieces

I'm not a parent. I admit I have favorites...

One Dusk

One Dusk

The question isn't whether it's beautiful... the question is, is it really a depiction of dusk?

Whatever you do, do NOT let the pieces fall into the hands of a small child.

A Battle Under the Surface

A Battle Under the Surface.

It's just so... Line-y. Not to be confused with 'Limey.' Although I hear the British are pretty nautical...
