2004. Handmade paper in a handmade shadow box. 20.75" x 20.75" x 3.5" $799.99 plus $28.99 for shipping. Click here if you want this piece.
This was, as of November 2004, the thickest piece of paper I have ever made. Over 1/4" thick (about five times thicker than most). This piece features a lot of wood shavings, and several pieces of an old band saw blade. It's fun to put new things into a piece of paper. I really feel like I need more of a reason to do this paper, but it's just a different, fun medium that most people wouldn't consider structural, but which can be. If anybody wants me to come out to their land, and build them a hut out of paper, I will totally do it... and it'll totally cost you... and it'll totally be worth it.
