Towering Revelation

This idea began as a tribute to the environment, with a pair of smokestracks staring defiantly at the world they were going to kill. As I got into the work, one of my few in monochrome, and in an even smaller group involving washes, the idea of smoke became too terrible to dream of. I liked the possibilities, both of the Sun rising on whatever world we make it, or of something more maudlin.
