In honor of the 2004 presidential election, I here commit a work of ambition, forged of colorful inks and my beloved sponges. My concept is twofold; I love the textural possibilities inherent in the sponge, and they complement my ideas on ambition, beyond my wildest dreams. In this world, status is the whole show. Granted, there are many different kinds of status, but most everyone wants some. In my case, artwork is my chief method of status acquisition. Hopefully, money soon will be, as well.
