Portrait of General Rojet

Portrait of General Rojet

2002. Oil pastel on canvas. 8" x 10" Sold! But you can always commission a similar piece.

This is General Rojet (RO-zhay)... he takes flack for it. Fortunately, he's bad-ass enough that most who mock his name soon mock the inside of his throat. This is one of my first independent commissions (as opposed to public art), and while he is almost a master study (from an AD&D creature compendium), there are sufficient stylistic and material differences to make him independent (which means nothing). The background was actually an accident... I was running out of black, so I began to use yellow. People seem to like it. Just goes to show, I'm at my best when I'm screwing up. I hope to screw up in just such a manner many times in the future.

Some of my favorite pieces

I'm not a parent. I admit I have favorites...

One Dusk

One Dusk

The question isn't whether it's beautiful... the question is, is it really a depiction of dusk?

Whatever you do, do NOT let the pieces fall into the hands of a small child.

A Battle Under the Surface

A Battle Under the Surface.

It's just so... Line-y. Not to be confused with 'Limey.' Although I hear the British are pretty nautical...
