I used to do some AD&D gaming, and in the game, my character had a dog. Normally Shank (the dog) was a regular bull mastiff; tough, mean and doggified (Arf! Arf!). Eventually, my character met a kindly wizard, who gave Shank two new incarnations: he could be inside a crystal (which is shown in the upper left, if you look carefully), or he could become a deadly war mastiff, capable of kicking the really big, nasty ass. This piece will never be duplicated in the form pictured here, because this paper is unique; it actually contains some hair from a friend of mine (she didn't let me do the cutting; I still think she would've looked hot with a crew cut!). It's shown here on a black background, but I haven't actually framed it, yet. I might never, point-of-fact.
