Log Microcosm

Log Microcosm

2005. Jewelry. About the size of 10 quarters, stacked. Sold! But you can always commission a similar piece.

This knothole is one of my favorites. It was a hell of a lot of work, and I think I finally got a subtle color scheme installed in this one. I'm also kind of proud of the wire job... I secured it with resin, but it wasn't really necessary. This tiny, log-like knothole is among the strongest pieces of art I have ever constructed. If you're into things that last, and will apreciate in value... you don't need to look any further, for awhile. I'm starting to sound like those people who sell jewelry on the home shopping channel.

Some of my favorite pieces

I'm not a parent. I admit I have favorites...

One Dusk

One Dusk

The question isn't whether it's beautiful... the question is, is it really a depiction of dusk?

Whatever you do, do NOT let the pieces fall into the hands of a small child.

A Battle Under the Surface

A Battle Under the Surface.

It's just so... Line-y. Not to be confused with 'Limey.' Although I hear the British are pretty nautical...
